This utility updates the Reader for PC software to version 2. The software supports Sony’s PRS-505, PRS-700, Reader Pocket Edition and Reader Touch Edition models. There are several options: Copy book(s) from My Library. System requirements for the software call for a G3 or better, including Intel Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.6 or later 25MB hard disk space Internet connection USB interface (for Reader connection). You can also search the contents of your eBooks and borrow eBooks from your local public library (if the library is participating in the OverDrive service Sony has partnered with). That software eBook Library Software 3.0 is now ready for download. With eBook Library Software, Sony Reader users can use the Mac instead - shopping on Sony’s eBook Store, transferring eBooks to the Reader using the Mac and a USB cable, or reading eBooks on the Mac itself.
